Bio
Dub Spirits is a studio-based dub producer, engineer, and curator whose sound is deeply rooted in roots dub, reggae, new roots, and UK dub traditions.
Beginning music production in 2010, Dub Spirits collaborated with Bandulu Dub in the early 2010s, releasing a series of remixes through Dan Dada Records and King Dub Records. During this period, he remixed works for artists including Hornsman Coyote, Leon Uriah and Sista Caro.
In 2015, Dub Spirits won a Special Award in the DRY&HEAVY DUB CONTEST for a remix titled Jam Rock, based on Dry&Heavy’s cover of iNi Kamoze’s “World A Music”, which was later released on both vinyl and digital formats via Positive Production.
Since 2024, Dub Spirits has been operating as an independent label, releasing original tracks alongside remixes for artists such as Nico Royale, Monsieur et Madame LoOps, Lavender Fields. That same year, he launched the Roots & Dub Spotify playlist—curating and updating it weekly to bridge classic and contemporary selections, offering both long-time and new listeners a space to discover music beyond their usual era.
